CEO
As Dialog’s CEO, Mark brings an unusual mix of C-suite,technology, healthcare and business development and marketing experience to bear on creating growth at all levels in and around an organization. Mark has been a vice president and general manager at a national telecom as well as Dell, and Microsoft. Having been a senior executive at leading hardware, software, and telecommunications companies, Mark has an exceptionally well-rounded view of marketing, ecosystem management, and the nature of the way technology is shaping our world.
Mark is skilled at identifying adjacent markets for business growth. As vice president of marketing for Dell’s Small and Medium Business division, Mark was responsible for over $8B in revenue.
Valerie Hausladen
President
Valerie Hausladen is founder and partner of Magnetika, a strategic marketing firm based in Denver and Austin that was aquired by Dialog in 2024.
Valerie specializes in bringing fresh thinking and innovative marketing strategies to top-tier organizations. She has split her career as an executive in Fortune 500 technology and health companies, and as a leader of global digital and full-service advertising agencies.
Valerie has successfully taken both large and small companies to new levels of growth. During her tenure as Marketing Director for the public sector, she helped Dell rise to the #1 position in Education. As Chief Marketing Officer for SlimGenics, she launched the company into a top online retail site to expand its leadership beyond local weight loss centers.
As President of Tocquigny — a digital agency in Austin — Valerie led the growth to acquire new customers and grew revenue from $1M to $9M in four years. Later Valerie was hired as Managing Director WPP’s global agency, Enfatico, to build the agency’s largest office servicing a $4.5B, three-year account.
Valerie is a graduate of Stanford University and has served on the Board of Directors for the Miracle Foundation, American Red Cross and the marketing committee for the People’s Community Clinic. She loves to write and published a bestselling book, Professional Destiny, which rose to the #1 position on Amazon in two non-fiction categories.
Bob Gutermuth

Standing in the confluence of technology, marketing, and strategy, Bob pioneered the Cagency model — a consulting firm married with a digital agency— when he founded Dialog in 2005. As such, he has been recognized for his cutting-edge leadership by organizations such as MSNBC and WorldBlu for creating one of the world’s most innovative companies and democratic workplaces, and named a Top Five B2B Marketer by B2B Magazine. Bob formerly led marketing for Dell’s $9B Public Sector Division before founding Dialog. The firm saw early on the power of networks and the role that value propositions served in shaping them, and helped leading organizations including Apple, AT&T, The Presidential Libraries, and Nike take advantage of network-based approaches to leadership, marketing, and transformation.
Known as being inventive, integrative, and authentic, Bob has helped top-performing teams including HP, Ernst & Young, and Dell Technologies compete at the next level and navigate transformational change and taught courses to global leaders at Oxford University.
Vince DiBianca

Vince DiBianca, is recognized as a pioneer, leader and authority in the field of leadership transformation, Having served as an executive advisor and leadership coach to CEO’s, C-suite executives and individual entrepreneurs, Vince works one-on-one with leaders to address unforeseen challenges, intractable problems and unfamiliar territory.
His work with CEO’s at Reebok, Allstate, Men’s Wearhouse, Novartis Consumer Products, Sears, Whole Foods, Hughes Aircraft has helped produce unparalleled results in projects like, the creation of new markets and innovative products; breakthrough time-to-market; cultural transformation; smooth merger assimilation; purpose and vision creation; strategic re-focusing and unprecedented growth and profitability.
After starting his business career as a project engineer at General Motors, Vince became a consulting partner at Touche Ross (now Deloitte). During his 14-year stint Vince learned bold leadership from his mentor, Russ Palmer, CEO and Managing Partner and later Dean of the Wharton School. Vince left Touche Ross and joined Bob Berkman to co-found DiBianca-Berkman Group, an organizational transformation firm that grew from a handful to over 70 consultants in a few years. After 10 years of success, the firm was acquired by Computer Science Corporation where Vince served on the board of CSC’s consulting unit.
In 2016, Vince founded DiBianca Associates, to work with leaders on Transformation 3.0, developing new rules and new tools for systemic interdependence throughout their stakeholder ecosystem. Vince’s clients learn how leading in this upside-down and unpredictable world presents the most consequential opportunity one can get to make a game-changing difference personally and on a large scale. They focus on how business is leading us toward an environmentally sustainable, socially just, ethically conscious and economically thriving future for our enterprises, ourselves and the world.
Having achieved an undergraduate degree in Commerce and Engineering from Drexel University, Vince went on to receive his MBA degree from Bucknell University. He has guest lectured at several colleges and universities including, Harvard Business School, University of Southern California and Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Cherie Cox

Cherie was most recently the CEO of Young & Rubicam (Y&R) Austin, part of the largest global marketing network in the world. In addition to serving on the North America leadership team for Y&R, Cherie and her team led some of the most successful B2B and technology clients in the world to success, including Dell, AMD, Samsung, Hewlett Packard, VMware, McLane, Sybase, Red Hat, 3M, Freescale, and many others.
Her expertise arsenal includes global branding and execution, go-to-market planning, lead generation, digital marketing, and sales enablement. She has led teams to win both marketing effectiveness and creativity awards throughout her career and has been associated with delivering on some of the best campaigns from a tangible, results-driven perspective for many of her clients over the years.
Having been nationally recognized as a top leader in creating an award-winning culture, Cherie thrives on inspiring client partners and coworkers to work as one team with a common vision on delivering successful business results. This focus is in complete alignment with Dialog’s strengths regarding network design, making her an ideal partner for the team.
Cherie also previously served as the chair of the board for the southwest division of the 4 A’s (American Association of Advertising Agencies), as well as having served on the board for Austin Community College. She holds a BA in journalism with a minor in psychology from Texas State University.
David Martino
Chief Creative Officer
Nationally recognized for his creative achievements, David Martino brings 30+ years of creative direction experience to Dialog. His experience with big brands and results-oriented, award-winning national campaigns has earned him recognition from the Communication Arts Design Annual, PRINT’s Regional Design Annual, National Addys, and the New York Film Festival.
Known as a stringent brand builder, he is also a recognized and respected creative team builder and creative strategist. His experience leading creative teams includes creative director positions at advertising agencies, B-to-B marketing firms, and international consumer-based companies.
David was one of the founding members of T3, an Adweek Top 100 agency with capitalized billings over $230M. And at Tocquigny, he was recruited to help build the firm into a full-service agency. In less than a year, Tocquigny’s client roster had doubled — winning more awards than any other Austin agency.
In 2006, David started Martino Creative, a full-service agency specializing in strong identities through the consistent packaging of corporate print collateral, interactive web work, direct marketing, and broadcast. Previous to joining Dialog, David also served as creative director at Schlotzsky’s corporate, one of the fastest growing fast and casual restaurant chains, where he was instrumental in building a strong strategic vision and brand consistency. Under his creative leadership, Schlotzsky’s successfully reinvented their image, design strategy, and creative materials from print to digital to broadcast.
Mel Maldonado-Turner
Creative Director
For more than two decades, Mel Maldonado Turner has thrived at the intersection of graphic design and brand strategy. Her work is guided by the belief that meaningful innovation requires a deep understanding of the people who will use what she creates and the changing world that surrounds them.
She started her career at Foote, Cone & Belding, San Francisco, fulfilling a dream of working for an agency with global clients such as Apple, Levi Strauss & Co., and Pacific Bell. Mel also brings creative leadership from international, in-house agency experience with National Instruments as executive producer.
Mel’s practice has been notable for crossing media genres, drawing on references from a diverse range of cultural, historical, aesthetic, and technological sources. Her work encompasses brand identities, environmental design, multiscale exhibitions, signage systems, print, motion, and interactive graphics.
Mel holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin and has served as a board member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, Austin.
Becky Beane
VP, Client Services
Becky is a seasoned global marketing executive with a long track record of driving exceptional growth in both large and small technology companies through highly effective go-to-market strategy development and execution.
Becky is laser-focused on exceeding customer expectations and delivering on key business, marketing, and sales objectives. In marketing executive roles for many top companies, including Oracle, SAP, HP, and AMD, Becky has led integrated marketing communications, field marketing, channel marketing, and program and initiative teams.
She has been recognized by employers for her marketing leadership and in the industry by Min for Best of Web Award — Commercial Program and as CRN’s 100 Most Powerful Women of the Channel. Becky attended High Point College, in High Point, NC.
