Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Digital and Social Media Strategist with a strong understanding of what pushes business in the digital space, and the ability to critically analyze the results and drive for improvements. They will help define digital vision, strategy and solutions that address business challenges for our clients and enable specific business goals. Along the way they will be responsible for tracking and providing reporting as well as strategic optimization for client initiatives. They will work heavily with internal teams and client contacts throughout the digital road map and planning process as well as execution.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in achieving digital revenue goals by building strategic and creative digital marketing programs for clients, including Search, Social, Mobile and other Digital components
  • Support the digital strategy practice with a strong focus on business analysis, differentiated digital experiences, key digital capabilities and road mapping
  • Engage with clients to identify key strategic challenges and business, marketing and digital needs to be addressed; evaluate scope of strategic engagement
  • Develop and maintain a strong, trusting partnership between agency and client by establishing solid, professional relationships
  • Work with clients to identify and address gaps in digital presence, specific to business goals
  • Lead post-campaign reporting efforts outlining key learnings and creating case studies when needed
  • Process and evaluate research from diverse qualitative and quantitative sources, especially social media activity and sentiment
  • Define targets for metrics, develop process for collecting and analyzing data, develop and deploy reporting dashboards
  • Project manage website development and other online activations
  • Help develop RFP responses and proposals
  • Work with the account and creative teams to guide the development and presentation of more complex, innovative and targeted digital solutions
  • Introduce and evangelize our digital capabilities, emphasizing Search, Social and Mobile innovation while staying up-to-date with Search, Social, and Mobile trends and innovations
  • Support RFP responses, proposals and business development efforts by educating prospective clients on DIALOG’s comprehensive digital offering

Specific Qualifications:

  • 7 to 10 years of Digital Marketing, Mobile, Social, Software, and/or Search Experience
  • Background in several of these areas: content creation, usability testing, information architecture, advanced social media campaigns, online community building and engagement
  • Highly developed EQ, and superior client service and demonstrated ability to grow internal and external client relationships
  • An understanding of the impact of social media across all digital marketing channels (and the ability to discuss the ROI of social media campaigns)
  • The ability to translate clients’ goals and objectives into actionable and measurable digital marketing programs
  • Demonstrated experience building and executing digital/social media campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Google +, Tumblr, blogging platforms such as WordPress, and emerging social networks/technologies
  • Strong understanding of digital strategy, design, production and project management as well as tactics to leverage social media
  • Exceptional written and communication skills including a high degree of success/experience with presentations
  • Experience and success getting buy-in from senior executives
  • Experience managing to a revenue and profit goal including scoping and forecasting
  • Knowledge of digital/online industry tools, key players and trends
  • Project/Program Management: specifically in website development or online projects
  • Client Relations: Provides strategic input and client facing interaction
  • Metrics: Google Analytics, SiteCatalyist expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree or similar level of education
  • The ability to travel as necessary
  • Ability to have fun and thrive in a very active, dynamic and fun environment
